Our toasties are going square with our brand-new square sourdough loaves. We bake to a specific recipe designed by our baker Louis so that it toasts evenly and retains the filling & melts perfectly We've gone square to guarantee that every bite has the perfect ratio of bread/cheese/filling

From today, we stay open until 10pm Wednesday to Sunday at our new venture, Little Louie, a two year "meanwhile" site in Elephant Park, SE17 1GQ (open Monday & Tuesday until 5pm for now...)

Cafe by day, wine & cocktail bar by night, we are sharing an amazing site on the North side of the park with fellow traders Fix Your Cycle & Solo Crafts. With fresh food daily, hifi sounds + vintage furniture for sale as well as natural wines & local beers to go we welcome one and all from the existing + ever growing and changing Elephant & Castle community.

To kick things off we have selectors Madera Verde (25.11), Source International X The Choice (26.11) & Mr B-Wild (27.11) on the decks from 7 - 10pm.

Our cozy basement is available for private hire for parties up to 30 guests every day from midday to midnight.

We have fantastic menus (see on the right) for regular + Xmas parties

As well as great food & drink , you can enjoy own music via our hifi sound.

It’s been a vibrant Spring and Summer for us as part of the Jamyang Buddhist Centre family!

As the season draws in, the Yard Café will be taking a break for the coldest months, closing on Sunday 7 November for winter, reopening again on Tuesday 1 March 2022.

We wont be hibernating though, as we will be working with Jamyang on catering for special events & venue hire as well as opening our new neighbourhood cafe & bar, Little Louie, just across the road from Jamyang at Elephant Park.

For weekend brunch (Saturday - Sunday, 10am - 2pm), we are currently accepting walk ins upstairs but offering booth bookings in the basement for tables of 4 to 8 guests. Click here to book
